Design capabilities

Combilent's engineering team has a long experience in the design and development of integrated front-ends for base stations. Front-ends have been developed for:

  • TETRA 400 MHz and 800 MHz
  • PDT 350 MHz
  • DMR 450 MHz, 800 MHz, 900 MHz
  • GSM-900, GSM-1800

Typical front-end includes hybrid combiner with isolators, duplex filter with integrated Rx amplifier and distribution, antenna VSWR alarm monitoring and bias-T for power supply of TMAs and power supply, control electronics and alarm interface to the base station.

Or a lower loss version including two duplexers with integrated Rx amplifier and distribution, antenna VSWR alarm monitoring and bias-T for power supply of TMAs and power supply, control electronics and alarm interface to the base station.

Based on our experience, Combilent offers to assist in writing the specification for complex RF products.

Combilent is also offering a wide range of cavity and hybrid combiners designed to customer specification with high reliabilty as one of the most important design parameters.

Our filter expertise includes design for low PIM and high power (multi-carrier operation, poor load conditions and high altitude) in a low profile mechanical layout.
