BTS front-ends
Combilent's engineering team has a long experince in the design and development of integrated front-ends (CDUs and FCUs) for base stations. Front-ends have been developed for:
- TETRA 400 MHz
- GSM-900
- GSM-1800
- UMTS-2100
A typical front-end includes 2-way hybrid combiner with isolators, duplex filter with integrated Rx amplifier and distribution, antenna VSWR alarm monitoring and bias-T for power supply of TMAs and power supply, control electronics and alarm interface to the base station.
Front-end including auto tuned cavity combiner is also availbale. This FCU offers low insertion loss for a 4 channel combiner.
